I WILL STAND

Religious Children's Song: I Will Stand was written for the 2009 Church Music contest. I wrote this for our kids, especially for our daughter's and upcoming baptism in October. As a "primary song," I wanted it to have simple, teaching lyrics that present gospel principles that children can remember, understand and learn from. ***Update: I did hear back from the church in response to my submission. They said "we have had scores of entries this year, and your song, I Will Stand was among the finalists." So, it didn't get chosen, but I was happy that among so many entries, it was a finalist.
